Didn't realize how much my hammer was swinging until I switched to this sleeve-style holder. It keeps the tool riding upright and tight against my hip now, no more smacking my knee on the ladder. The leather's stiff out of the box but I can tell it'll break in nicely.

Didn't realize how much my old hammer flopped around until I switched to this leather holder. It sits tight against my hip now and the sleeve keeps the head up instead of swinging into my leg. Been on my belt two weeks and the stitching still looks solid.

The sleeve design really does keep my hammer from swinging into my leg when I climb down a ladder, which was my biggest annoyance with my old nylon holder. It's all leather so it's stiff at first, but after a week it's molded to my belt nicely.
