Bought this for framing work and the outer slots keep my tri-square and cat's paw right where I can grab them without digging. The layered pockets actually hold up after a few weeks of getting tossed in the truck bed.

The deep main pouch swallows my whole framing square with room left for nails. My tri-square finally has its own slot instead of floating around loose in the bottom. Two weeks of daily use and the stitching hasn't budged.

The layered outer pockets are what sold me, and now I can actually reach my cat's paw without digging through the main pouch. The round bottom keeps it sitting upright on the floor instead of tipping over. Solid stitching too, no fraying after a few weeks of daily use.
