Didn't expect much for a small metal loop, but it clips onto my 2" work belt and holds a 25ft tape without slipping. Finally stopped digging through my pouch for the measure.

Clipped this onto my 3" work belt and it hasn't budged through a whole weekend of framing. The loop holds my tape measure snug, and swapping it for a meter case takes two seconds. Wish I'd grabbed one years ago.

Didn't realize how much I needed this until my tape measure stopped sliding off my belt every time I crouched down. The loop clips on tight and holds anything with a clip, even my meter case. Solid little piece of gear.
