Been framing all week and my hammer finally stopped banging my thigh on every ladder climb. The compact holder rides high enough that it doesn't snag on rungs either, which is the whole reason I switched.

The high mount design keeps my hammer up out of the way when I'm climbing ladders, which is exactly what I needed. It sits tight against my belt and doesn't snag on scaffolding anymore.

Was tired of my hammer banging my thigh all day, and this fixed it. Rides up near my hip so it stays out of the way when I'm climbing ladders or crouching. Snagging on stuff is basically gone too.
